How would someone start their own local auction in a different town? Where do you get your pallets? My husband and I LOVE the Stillwater auction and think it would be a fun business to start elsewhere.

Did the station move? I went to pick up something I bid on at the auction yesterday at 6:00pm and the doors were locked. Is there a back entrance? Please respond so I can pick up my stuff. Thanks.

we used to buy things on the auction till it went to just stillwater cable. is there ever any plans to get it so people outside the local cable could pick it up? and surely there are a lot of people just like us outside the local cable that also would like to watch the auction too. thanks for your time.

At present, there are no plans in the immediate future to switch back to over the air broadcasts.

The reason being at, that at this time, tv stations are switching to digital broadcast only. By being on local cable, we offer our signal as digital. Our old broadcast transmitter is an analog only system.

That said, we may in the future setup the over-the-air system for digital if funding is at a point that it is feasible.

Digital Over-the-air will be mandatory on Feb. 17, 2009. On that day, ALL tv stations offering an analog broadcast, that you need an antenna to receive, will switch to digital. In order to receive those signals you will need a digital converter box to unscramble the signals.
